Greetings! I am aware that cFos expression is used extensively as a marker for cell activity in the CNS. However, I was wondering whether cFos staining reliably works in the gut, such as in the stomach, duodenum, pancreas or etc. of mice. Whether it be ICC, IHC, or ISH methods, I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions or comments regarding this subject. Even if I get positive data regarding cFos expression in the digestive system, would it make any sense as a marker for recent cell activity? Thank you very much.
