Does Campylobacter jejuni produce extracellular matrix components like cellulose or curli fibers during biofilm formation?

Hi all,

I wonder if somebody know about the extracellular biofilm matrix components in C. jejuni. Any insights, thoughts or knowledge to share?

Hi, check it empirically - add Congo Red to the investigated biofilm. If it sticks, it means there are curli or cellulose-like structures. Or extracellular beta-sheet compounds in general.
