Hi Juan Carlos, what do you consider a "long term" study?  In Chile, I am having also a hard time to develp long term studies on the O. flavescens due to the anthropic perturbance. Specifically the culling activities by the salmon farms. I had to decrease our studies to a year span because I never know when our subjects of study are going to face the guns again. Despite the large number of sites, it is hard to find one that is not affected by human activities. Therefore, it is very important to specify the pan of the study and specifically what variables are you considering for your study. You have to specify what do you look for when you talk about foraging (frequency, diet, etc) and reproductive behavior (number of females per male, male interaction rate, mating rate, etc).
