Hello,
I´m working according to protocol by Levine (1990) for determination of oxidatively modified proteins. The carbonyl content is calculated from the absorbance value at 365 nm. Are there any special requirements for the spectrophotometer? Speed scan (nm/min) is set to auto and I set the lamp for 340 nm.

you can use the FT-IR with ( AquaSpec cell) to measured protein analysis . this type of analysis more accurate , sensitive quantitatively and qualitatively .
