Hi,
Does anyone knows what kind of dye could I use to check where I put the electrode and did the recording (LFP)?. It has to be a dye that I could add during the recording and doesn´t affect the signal?.

You can use Nissl. Slides are immersed in destilled water (1 min), 0.5% cresyl violet (15 min), ethanol 70% (30 secs), 95% (15 secs), 100 % (5 secs) and xylene (30 secs). Permount added, coverslipped and air-dried.

you could just use rhodamine. if your electrode can be filled, you could also use biocytin
