The BY-2 cells are non green cells and even when they are under continuous light, don't change their color. Can changing hormone in their media can make a difference? I worked with other cell lines like Arabidopsis, they are green when light is present but, I am not sure about the duration of the time/exact process needed for BY-2 cells to let the other pigments act. Please let me know if you have such experience or any paper related.

Thanks in advance,
