In the attached paper (by Shankar Balasubramaniam's group) they have used the BG4 antibody to pull down G4 RNA. Does this mean the antibody binds both DNA and RNA, only one with less affinity? Can anyone elaborate?
The BG4 antibody binds both DNA G4s and RNA G4s with similar affinities. To eliminate RNA G4s, you need to treat the cells with RNaseA.

Need to find the exact paper if somebody has done it. Those who work with only RNA G4s, they also use BG4 antibody.
