Does anyone know where to find data on congenital heart disease and its socioeconomic impact on families in India?

Congenital heart disease is the malfunction of heart from birth, or it can be said to be a birth defect. Unfortunately lot of children in India still don't get timely treatment and die.

There are no such studies in India so far because we don't have a nationwide birth registry.Majority of the births are not even registered. Many babies die unattended. AIIMS in collaboration with ICMR is planning to conduct such research and then only data will be available.
