This Latin inscription comes from the base of a statue erected in Antioch in Pisidia by the citizens of Alexandria in Egypt. I don't expect that the statue will have survived, but would be interested to know if it had.
And I don't if the statue base with the inscription is still in situ, or is now in a museum. I have a full copy of the text but it would be helpful to see an image of the actual inscription.

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions.
I'm currently reviewing two small pieces I wrote as a student many years ago, and took the text of the inscription from Rushforth, C. McN., Latin Historical Inscriptions.
I've been able to find a copy of that on Archive.org, which has saved me some legwork. But I'll check out your links, Andrew, for anything else that may be useful.
I'd also already found the inscription on the EDCS site, Teresa, but appreciate your input because I'm sure others will find the link helpful. (This is a very useful general search link for anyone wanting to track down epigraphic evidence of interest to them.)
It is marvellous how much is now available on the net, but for my own satisfaction I'd still like to see a photo of the actual inscription. So will just keep my fingers crossed that someone may yet be able to supply that.

Thanks, anyway, Werner. I have had a look at the site, and find it very interesting, and know it will be of great use in future.
I also did a search on the site for the CIL No. of the inscription. They have an entry for it, with a note saying that the digital image is not yet available. So hopefully it will be in future, and I'll just check on it from time to time.
So I do appreciate your advice.
The image is still unavailable on the Heidleberg Epigraphic Database site, so if anyone knows of anywhere else I can find a photo I'd be glad to hear from them.
