Some of my students found this on an excursion to a beach in the northern parts of Norway (Bodø). My best guess so far is some sort of snail egg mass. (Its the green drop-shaped structure in the attached picture).
This looks like the egg mass of a polychaete. In the Netherlands we find similar egg masses in spring, deposited by Phyllodoce mucosa. I include an underwater photo of these worms in the process of producing such an egg mass.
