Families/caregivers of patients who are in advanced stage of decline, feel they are not supported by the healthcare team, some are so scared and anxious as to what's happening to their loved ones but are afraid to ask questions and they are not readily given information; this adds to their fears and anxiety. I am hoping to do a survey using pre and post questions to see if educating them about death and dying and the planning that should take place, will impact their perceptions.
