I have to count the number of BrdU cells in dentate gyrus. I already have the number of BrdU positive cells. The individual areas for granular+subgranular zone and the polymorphic zone, as well as the total area of dentate gyrus. However, I don't have a clear idea or method to normalize the number of brdu cells/mm2.
Hi, you can check Nikolakopoulou et al., 2006c (Passive avoidance training is correlated with decreased cell proliferation in the chick hippocampus) for a quick and easy way.
