I know the European Climate and Assessment & Dataset at 0.22 degree (http://eca.knmi.nl/download/ensembles/download.php#datafiles). I am interested in something at this resolution of better for the whole world, or other databases for other continents which I could use together with the European one.

Dear Victor, specially for surface data there is analysis data from the cfs version 2 accessible on the nomads at http://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov/modeldata/cfsv2_analysis_flxf Those are global files and at least you can get precipitation, temperature at surface and at 2m together with some soil variables. Horizontal resolution is 0.205º.
PRISM has some very high resolution rainfall and temp data for North America: http://www.prism.oregonstate.edu/
Arturo, I am interested on daily or monthly data from 1982 onwards.
If you are looking for a global reanalysis data set, i.e. physical consistence in space, time and between parameters, the ERA-Interim has a slightly higher resolution than the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis.
