I am very interested in influences on behaviour in the marine environment, particularly in invertebrates. While anxiety is relatively obvious in marine vertebrates, or invertebrates that are mobile (e.g., cephalopods), I wonder if anyone has successfully dealt with the concept of anxiety in more simple organisms, such an anemones or sea urchins? Or does anxiety not exist for such animals?
