I like to know whether your model for heterogeneous network is ready or not. If ready, what is the model? what are the elements considered in the heterogeneous model? What are the protocols for the issues such as handover, call . admission etc.? After that how do you implement the model? What are the QoS parameters? Once all such questions are cleared then think of program implementation using some software that can handle all the issues. MATLAB could definitely be a way to implement but look at other options as well that may implement all the issues in your model.
Actually, the focus is to develop a vertical hand-off mechanism for V2I communication over HWN. I am using MADM algorithms (AHP for assigning weights and TOPSIS for network ranking ) for network network selection. the related literature have used MAtLab for simulation. Anyone with TOPSIS matlab source code? Thanks
