I have cells seeded on both the apical and the basolateral side of a transwell. I would like to stain both sides to observe the cross talk between both sides. I've been looking for protocol, but have not really found any for staining both sides. If anyone knows of anything that would be very helpful!

The only meaningful way to do it is to fix the cells, cryopreserve in sucrose, and perform cryosections of your transwell membrane. You will need to coat your slide glass with poly-d-lysine to ensure section adhesion.
