For an illustration in an archaeological paper, I am looking for a 3d model of a cervid skeleton, preferably of a fallow deer (Dama dama) or red deer (Cervus elpahus). Is anyone willing to share such a model (of course credited) or know a place where such a model can be obtained? Thanks so much!

I suggest you contact directly the Gallery of Comparative Anatomy (Natural History Museum, Paris) or CVAST (USF) to see if they've also got and are able to share Dama dama.

Thanks for your reply! I have found this particular point cloud and contacted them via Sketchfab (no response yet). I am also not sure whether the resolution is sufficient to create a good mesh from it and was hoping to find some back-up options in the meantime...

Well, after zooming the point cloud, the resolution (I'm not talking about accuracy and precision of the scanner or final dataset, ok?) seems quite high for publication.
But, at the end, it all depends on the type of details you're actually interested in.

in case you don't get the data from Sketchfab, you may obtain it from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig. In 2009 Laura Niven and colleagues published the article:
