Hello! I am looking for genetically encoded fluorescent probe which would emit the signal only after cleavage. We would like to measure enzyme protein digestion activity but the FRET-based approach is not suitable (I cannot 'block' 2 channels), so it is more about beacon-quencher system one can find for DNA/RNA but for proteins. Has anyone heard about it?
