Multiple Intelligences and learning styles has been thoroughly debunked with no evidence for its existence. Many, many studies based on undergraduate students have tried to help learners identify their learning style but when confronted with the same assessment criteria on two different times during their course they produce very different outcomes.

I do not think that this avenue of academic endeavour is worthy of your time and effort. Even more so if it is actually part of a teacher training programme.

However, there has to be more than one to prove that Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, Kolb's Learning Styles and Experiential Learning Cycle, and Neil Fleming's VARK theory are debunked. Otherwise, how do you effectively argue perspective of "debunked" ?

I didn't say Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligence is debunked. It shows how we (students) process information. Multiple intelligences are not "learning styles" That's the problem. Garnder himself has addressed this way back in 2013. Please read his article on the Harvard website available at the link below.

In nutshell, learning style is only a hypothesis. According to Gardner the notion of learning style is not coherent. He quotes, when researchers tried to identify learning styles, teach consistently with those styles, and examine outcomes, there is no persuasive evidence. You can look these up.

It will be great if you can show me any serious work done on Learning Style. I haven't seen one serious study on Learning styles or anyone answering to Howard Gardner.

One more thing. Kolb's work on experiential learning is fantastic. I read that book a long time ago, and I don't recall anything about learning style in his work. His work was all about engaging. If you find anything specific about learning style in his work, please share. I believe people later attributed learning style to him, just like what happened to multiple intelligence.

This journal seems like fake. a) It is not listed in the directory of open access journals. All reputed journals are listed in this database. b) It is not available through Peer reviewed journal search, c) it not on scopus index, and d) It has a questionable editorial board. And this paper is an opinion paper and not a research paper.
