Our work with fermentation suggests that the ratio is not a simple question. It will be a function of the temperature at which the process runs, whether it is continuous or batch, the pH which must be greater than 6.5 but not allowed to exceed 7.5, the fluid content of the fermentation itself, and what products beyond methane are desired from the process.
Thank you Mr. Edward Calt and Dr. Randa. We are working at low-temperature around 20 deg C. And this process did work for sheep manure. Actually my question is more focussed on inhibition factor while using excess amout of straw or other bedding.
