When I'm running a simulation in Abaqus 2019 version (Not purchased), I'm getting error after completing a few steps of the simulation. The error is as below which is found in the message file.
"---------- RUNTIME EXCEPTION HAS OCCURRED ----------
*** ABAQUS/standard rank 0 received the SIGABRT signal"
I see that an exception file is generated during this process. The exception file suggests that the current memory used by Abaqus is exceeding than the set limit memory. The files are attached here.
My question is if I set the limit of memory to a certain number, why Abaqus exceeds that limit though I uncheck the increase memory option during job creation. And how to solve this problem.

I had the same problem... I was able to submit the job, but it did not run;
The alternative I found was to write the input file using Abaqus CAE and closed the program, then I opened Abaqus command and ran the job from the command line.
Command: abaqus job=jobname.inp
After the solver completed the job, I reopened Abaqus CAE and opened the results.
Command: abaqus cae
You can follow the status of the solver opening the stat, log, and msg file of the job in the working directory
It is not a real solution but allowed me to do the simulation.
Still searching for a better solution.
