The patient was consuming tetracycline and acnotin, but the lesion was getting bigger and bigger by years.

Do u have an istologic exam of that kind of lesion? Did u perform a study of the lymphocytes' subsets?

The use of Acnotin together with tetracycline antibiotics is contraindicated unless there are more benefits than risks. The drug reaction is mostly cell mediated cytotoxic response and T-cells play a role in the reactivation of lesions with exposure to the drug. The best way to manage the drug reaction is to withdraw tetracycline and gradual dose reduction of Acnotin. Vitamin E 400 IU may help minimise the problem.
