I am working on insulation condition monitoring of low voltage network. I would like to know if there is any method or technique for instantaneous detection of insulation fault or leakage current in low voltage network offline. I can not use high voltage as it may harm the insulation of the network.

Megar(hand driven generator-meter set) is used for insulation measurement, for better results, Wheston bride or even multimer(VIR meter), can be used. Can arrange online monitoring(leakage current, insulation resistance) using micro processor/ microcontroller. Refer my research papers,' microprocessor based, online monitoring of hot spot temperature... ........transformer'.etc.
