Does anyone have a standardized PCR protocol to screen for mutations in the par, parE , gyrA, and gyrB genes to screen for possible target based mutations leading to fluoroquinolone resistance in S. aureus. I have found a few articles, but I would like a protocol that allows me to sequence the entire coding sequence of these genes in case novel mutations occur.
