I am not familiar with service design thinking but when I learned about design thinking by visiting Stanford's d-school it seemed to me that design thinking has a lot to do with the research process of creating and testing hypotheses anyway.
yes, that's what I gathered as well. am reading Tim Brown's book these days. but I was also thinking about the way they actually fit the design ideas to the needs of a specific customer. I don't think in science we actually ever think about research applications outside academic scope. I'm actually trying to figure out how and by whom my research could be used and I feel that I'm not sure how to do that. I can design an experiment, test hypothesis - no problem, but to imagine some kind of practical application is very difficult. so I was wondering if there are some kind of tools for that. something similar to Business Model Canvas, but more Creating Applied Ideas from Research Canvas. would be happy for any tips!
