Looking to coat some mesh with PGS but it seems to need a high temperature to crosslink, potentially compromising the underlying polymer fabric... does anyone have any advice or protocols they can share? Can this process be done in a solvent or gel at lower heat?

Not in industrial, But in academic point of view.
1. Attach dopamine into poly(glycerol sebacate) through esterification.
2. Dip the mesh into the basic aqueous buffer solution including dopamine-PGS.
3. Put out PGS-coated mesh from the solution.
4. Dry it!
5. Characterize it! (FT-IR, EDX, SEM, XPS, etc.)
* Dopamine adhesion is reported to enable even on the surface of Teflon.
* Search for Mussel-Inspired Chemistry in the web.
