Hi Jessica,  Although marginal to your question, there is a capture-mark-recapture study (Chapter 5: Population characteristics and growth of Limnodynastes tasmaniensis) in the PhD thesis by C. B. Schell (2002) titled 'Ecology and life-history variation within  a population of the frog Limnodynastes tasmaniensis (Anura: Myobatrachidae) from a remnant woodland of the Cumberland Plain in North-Western Sydney' ,(University of Western Sydney, Australia (recently renamed Western Sydney University). This area is temperate rather than tropical by temperatures can approach 40 degrees C in summer and winters are relativity short. The thesis will be available on-line, unfortunately this work has not been published. Hope this helps, Shelley

It is true that tropical CMR has lagged behind temperate CMR studies, but there seem to be more showing up in the literature! I am not, however, aware of any tadpole CMR studies. Hi Jessica-  I have done two mark-recapture studies in the tungara frog in Gamboa, Panama.  These were breeding adults during the wet season, no tadpoles.  In the first study I did a weekly sampling for four weeks in 2010 at one site (1/2 km transect).  These data are part of a manuscript that is currently in review.  For a different project, I have a more extensive database of several hundred captures at three sites in 2013. One of those sites was the same as the previous study.  That manuscript hasn't been written up yet.  I'm not sure what all details you'd like to know but I can chat with you about these if you're interested. Just email me: [email protected].
