This is a key paper for understanding the development of the new, route-coloured subway map between Stanley Goldstein's prototype of 1965 (based on Raleigh D'Adamo's design principles) and the published map of 1967. Unfortunately, the NYCTA disapproved of this 'premature' paper and confiscated all copies that had not already been distributed. The paper is not in the archives of the APTA (formerly ATA). Does anyone, anywhere, have a copy?
