My problem is measuring water viscosity in field. I know about some equipment used to this kind of test, however it seems to be not sensitive enough for low viscous fluids (like water). In my opinion the marsh funnel is the only one, however not accurate. Please let me know if you got any experienced in that field.
Sorry but I think that you need to expand a bit your question... i.e., what is the point of measuring the viscosity of water on the field?. I think that you have a better chance of getting help if you explain better your needs and purpose.
Ok, I wish to measure the viscosity of water which contain frazil crystals (water temperature close to 0 deg. C). I don't think it is possible to take a sample to the lab without changing its properties. Therefore I would like to measure the viscous in the filed.
