I unfortunately can't use alpha smooth muscle actin. Rabbit is the preferred species. Mouse is not ideal.
Hi William, would fluorescent or biotinylated phalloidin and colchicine work for you?
Hi Will,
Check these
Abcam rabbit Anti-beta Actin antibody (ab8227).
Abcam mouse Anti-beta Actin antibody [AC-15] (ab6276)
Sigma rabbit anti-bIII tubulin [Tuj1] (T2200)
Purified mouse anti-Tubulin β 3 (TUBB3) Antibody (Previously Covance catalog# MMS-435P)
Cheers
Thanks Sebastián for the suggestions.
Steingrimur, I unfortunately need to use an antibody as a proof that antibodies in general can penetrate tissue in the particular disease condition I am looking at. Would you recommend phalloidin for future studies though over an antibody?
Instead of checking only the mRNA level, I want to check the active protein level of MMP-1 in Liver tissue from mice. How can I do that?
