Thank you for taking the time to respond. I looked at the Wuhan data (Yang et al) and have chosen to use 71.1% as the proportion of critically unwell respiratory patients requiring ventilators (i.e. 37 patients out of their 52 patient cohort) for my simulation.
Our local practice has been to discharge home suspected or confirmed CoVID-19 patients if they do not require oxygenation nor ventilation, and rely on their goodwill to self-isolate. I suspect our local data will have a rate of ventilatory requirement much higher than 4.1%.
