Need guide to perform a research on it's ability to fight against salmonella because its root are used traditionally in my community and it helps in controlling the effect of salmonella.

For minimal inhibitory concentration MIC assay, additional reagents and equipment will be needed. To check the ability of extracts suppress the growth of microorganisms I advise you to use the Kirby-Bauer Test / Zone of Inhibition Test, which is widely used clinically to check the ability of antimicrobial means to inhibit microbial growth.
