Does anyone have a suitable substitute for astra blue for use in Malzacher's staining technique (for identification of cestodes and trematodes)?

I'm hoping to use Malzacher's staining technique to aid in the identification of cestode and trematode specimens but can't find an alternative to Astra blue. I've used acetocarmine staining but have read that Malzacher's is more effective in showing up organs for I.D purposes. Does anyone have experience with this?
