Hello, I am trying to study bacterial composition in samples from endometrium. And to do so, we need to establish a protocol in the lab.
I saw several papers, some used beads and mention which type, some just say they used proteinase K and lysozyme prior to sample purification.
Then I am not sure if they didn't report the use of beads or if they went straight to proteinase K.
Therefore I decided to ask if anyone has experience with this type of extraction and if you could please send me the protocol.

If you have access to a capillary electrophoresis instrument then CZE would provide the best separation. Otherwise you could figure out the relative sizes of each cell type and attempt a size-exclusion column separation.
Hello, Vincent, thank you for the answer. It would work fine with a few samples, but I have more than 2000 to go over, it would get extremely cost and time demanding.

hi, try bioneer genomic dna extraction kit they have some modified protocol in their to extract bacterial dna also. we are using samethinmg it is working fine
