Hi, you can do a immunostaining using LC3 antibody (Cell Signaling).

This immunocytochemistry is tricky. I tryed different conditions in primary human skin fibroblasts from patient affected by mitochondrial diseases and the best condition was fixing and permeabilizing the cells in cold MeOH/Acteone (1:1). Yes, We used the CytoID Autophagy detection kit and it was very easy, it is just a dye.
