Dear All,

I am trying to perform the crack growth analysis for tire using ABAQUS as a solver and as a ground work I have gone through many technical papers & documentation, but still I am stuck with technical details like:

1) what should be the material model & what input in required ( currently I am using Yeoh model for structural analysis)

2) what should be the element type

3) What should be the procedural approach for accurate correlation with experimental ( this is secondary objective)

ABAQUS documentation says VCCT ( Virtual crack closer technique) is a good idea to perform the crack analysis.

but main concern is how to start???

If anyone has any reference material or input files then please share. Your support will be highly appreciated
