this https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.134273/page/n1 is a scanned version of the book from 1982. I couldn't find out whether this is the first version or not but according to this site https://trove.nla.gov.au/work/20423788 , listing several versions, it is the first published.

The first site of the pdf, however, is scanned very badly. The other pages aren't.

Since the book is from the 1980's i assume there is no "original pdf" available.

I hope it's the book you were looking for.
