I try to prepare phthalazine-1,4-diol and i got a white subtance as the result. I want to check if it's phthalazine-1,4- diol by melting point but according to the article follow which i prepared phthalazine ( the article i attached) phthalazine-1,4- diol has melting point : 181-183*C but according to Chemspider and some websites it has melting point higher 300 *C (http://www.chemspider.com/Chemical-Structure.190201.html?rid=3441dcce-7667-41db-87d7-31766fa65a81

do full spectroscopic characterization for the prepared sample then predict the structure because may be the anther mistake in writing the melting point
According to literature phthalazine-1,4-diol melting point >300C, more precisely 342-345C
I have synthesized this compound recently and its melting point was in the range of 338-340.
