It has been proposed a fractal diffusivity equation in 1D, where permeability and porosity are functions of scale and the linear or radial coordinate agrees with the scale, but the problem to take this expression to 2D is that now in (x,y) coordinates these properties are functions of position, which is not an adequate assumption.

Thank you for your kind response. My comment is that Manuel Cosio considered a 1D fractal behavior in x and y directions. The problem arises when we try to write the diffusivity equation in 2D.
