We have been working on preparation of magnetic activated carbons contg. magnetic nanoparticles dispersed in carbon matrix, and we would like to compare our materials with known composites and with their catalytic or soprtion properties.
Have you tried commercial suppliers like Sigma-Aldrich. They have Pd/C with varying Pd concentrations of Pd. Perhaps they have something like Fe/C.

I checked your papers, a I could see, you prepare FE2O3 doped metals. We prepare metal or metal-oxide/sulphide contg. carbons. But, if I can I will help you, please ask and I hope we can give answer or other help.
