Choristoneura species are widespread small Micorlepidoptera in Europe. Some of them are significant forestry pests, particularly on conifer trees. We would like to review the taxonomy of these species by using molecular tools. For this we need fresh specimens in ethanol. If anyone knows where there are outbreaks or where we could collect them, I would also be grateful for any information.
If I found the outbreak of Choristoneura species I will send the fresh specimens in ethanol for further research.
I have Choristoneura hebenstreitella in my area. If I can get a fresh specimen, I will send it to you in ethanol. It is late in the year, I am afraid you have to wait until next year.

Choristoneura spp are not described to Sardinia, but maybe are present, next summer I will try larvae nymphs or adults in some oak stands
can you tell me if adults appear together with adults of Tortrix viridana or if they appear later during the season.
I'm studying Tortrix and this information allows me to try at the right time
