I am searching (fruitlessly I might add) for the phylogenetic information on the two Carabus species (C.ulrichi and C.obsoletus). I would be very grateful if anyone could point me to a publication or share some of their insight into this matter.
Here you are a quite recent paper on molecular and morphological phylogeny of several Carabus sensu lato species
Thank you very much. What o coincidence that I have met Lucija personally on a conference 2 weeks ago and I failed to find her paper on the subject.
C.ulrichi is in the tree proposed by Lucija and only C.obsoletus is still at large.
If anyone would come across it please be so kind to let me know.
Yes, the World is so small.
Unfortunately as I see in the BOLD and NBCI database there are no C.(E) obsoletus sequences listed so far.
