In realistic terms, scoring format you should easily find from this info. Now how you are going to use it, or just prove it exists are different. Think, what scoring format dow put utility or emphasis on?

I would like to  thank you both for your comments. The Insanity Defense Attitudes Scale is, as its name says, is a Scale designed to determine individuals attitudes against the Insanity Defense. It was originally simply the IDA Scale, but it has since then been revised. Thus creating the IDA-R.

At that link you would be able to find the details on this scale, it's origin/creator and contents. Still despite all of this, it does not contain a scoring method for the questions listed on the scale. 

How we use it is in our research as a survey. We are conducting research on Insanity qualified jurors, much like the death qualified jurors. The IDA-R is one of the scales we are using to identity what contributes to individual choices either for or against the Insanity Defence; that is who gives a Guilty by Reason of Insanity, Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, or Guilty verdict.

 My explanations on this material may be a little rusty, as I have not been participating in this research for a year now. I do apologize for this, however I am still interested in this research and would still like to know how to score the IDA-R.

Does anybody know if the IDA - R is free to use? I am doing a study at University and would like to use it as my DV
