Does any one Know about the Wilson formula for finding the accurate 2theta position from a XRD pattern?

There may a shift in the XRD position due to the instrumental effect which can be corrected and find out the actual position using the Wilson equation, if any one has some idea about and can provide it to me, I will thankful to you.
