We work on tricellulin.  Furoso (sp?) has found some proteins that seem to interact but they may not be direct.  When expressed in insect cells and purified in detergent tricellulin is certainly monomeric so, while there may be homoligomerization in the membrane it is not particularly tight.  However, for it to function it almost certain that there will be binding partners, just which ones and how, remain an open question.

Thanks for your time answering the question. Study by Westphal et al showed that tricellulin forms a homodimeric tricellulin-tricellulin and hetrodimeric tricellulin-occludin complex but I also have not found any other research group reporting these direct interactions.
