As Jörg said the so called "Maniatis" is IMHO the best introduction to DNA cloning and related techniques.It is easy to read and follow and has the adequate coverage of techniques. Other protocol collections are huge and encyclopedic....
Now, in its 4rth edition is Green and Sambrook's "Molecular cloning, a laboratory manual" Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press.

Since it is specialized on protein expression, screenings and library cloning strategies are not covered (like all CRISPR strategies and also early cloning strategies). Also the list is never complete and there are many other mutagenesis and cloning strategies e.g. FX cloning (Geertsma 2011), often also for spezialized applications.
PS: a good thing is also to look at the toolbox implemented in widely used cloning softwares like Geneious or MCDS
