In the framework of one of our projects at Virginia Tech, we isolated strains from rain belonging to different plant pathogen species (Xanthomonas campestris, Xanthomonas arboricola). We also isolated some species associated to the phyllosphere like Pseudomonas graminis or Erwinia sp.. We are looking for collaborators who are interested in describing their diversity and/or their pathogenicity.
We are specialized in in vivo test for pathogenicity evaluation. Yes, I'm interested in collaboration for X. campestris and Erwinia sp.

Hi, just found your question. At 2005 we isolated a number of strains of Xcc from wild brassicas in isolated places in California, and the only common feature we found - the plants were covered by water after rain.
I know your research topic. i find it very interesting and with a great potential. i have in mind a method for evaluate genetic differencies beween similar Pseudomonas...
