In finite element simulations for a tire, the tire's internal air pressure is considered to be constant when passing through a cleat or obstacle. Is this true?
(All examples for tire in abaqus example problem guide are in the same approach)
Yes.but you can apply periodic surface loading on quarter tyre curved surface for simulating a better interaction with obstacle.

If the obstacle is small, change in volume and impact effect may be negligible. Thus, change in pressure will be small.
