Could you please help me with this research design? In a randomized control trial, the effects of a treatment method will be investigated on more than 3 variables, in 5 times assessment in two groups of intervention and control participants. Is a repeated measure ANOVA applicable with parametric data distribution? and the Freidman test for non-parametric data distribution?

With great respect to dear Jos Feys , (I did not know about him for a while and I remembered him.)
I like the following sentence more.
The distribution of the dependent variable in the two or more related groups should be approximately normally distributed. We talk about the repeated measures ANOVA only requiring approximately normal data because it is quite "robust" to violations of normality, meaning that the assumption can be a little violated and still provide valid results.

So even if the data is not normal, still use RM.
