Dear Researchers,
Now-a-days, getting a publication in journals with a high impact factor is very well sought. All that impact factor depends on is citations (average citations per article in some years), which also depends on the publisher and advertising. So, can quality of research be judged from impact factor ?

But the question is should it matter? and Why does that matter? Why ? If its based on citations, good citations can be obtained in any journal too. A good research should have impact on development of society rather than getting more journal citations or downloads.
I think so, sometime good work is published in Low Impact factor Journals but High Impact factor matter most of the time.
